Our Compass pool has been officially handed over to us & we are very happy. Tracy has been phenomenal throughout the whole process, answering all of our many questions & reassuring us - it's a huge decision to make after all. The biggest concern we had was getting the pool off our lane, down the drive and over the house. Elliot had this well under control. The drivers & crane operator were unbelievable and even the neighbours enjoyed watching the process. Post handover, we have had a couple of teething issues, which is to be expected with a new install. The engineers have been at hand and have been very helpful, although I think the company needs to get a better handle on this side of the business and a dedicated Customer Service Manager is very much needed.+6Posted on Google

C Burroughs2 June 2026This process has been so easy from start to finish. To begin with, we wanted to see the pool we had chosen in situ. This was arranged very quickly, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Ordering was also straightforward, and everything from that point through to delivery went exactly as expected. Once the pool was installed, we spent a few hours going through all the maintenance requirements (despite being in the middle of a building site). It was very thorough, and I’d highly recommend anyone doing this to take videos we’ve found them to be a real lifesaver. When we struggled on our own, Penny was fantastic even messaging me back on a Sunday when I was completely floundering. Now it’s all done, we feel confident about what we need to do and we absolutely love our pool. We just need the rest of the house finished before we can start swimming, but it’s there ready and waiting, along with the bottle of champagne they kindly left us as a gift. Mike was a pleasure to work with, from initial scoping despite all our questions being pool novices, through to a very clear handover, always responsive and helpful. Billy and the installation team were total pros, always working hard, in good spirits, kept to the expected timeline, keeping us updated on all the progress, and maintaining the site in good order. Simon’s sign off was meticulous, the attention to detail by all involved having been of the highest standard. Our sales consultant Tracy, took time to walk us through the process, understand what we needed in terms of specification and budgets. Ordering a pool can be a daunting task, Compass gave us the confidence to “take the plunge” The installation was very enjoyable and fascinating, Alan and his team were so professional and skilled, they almost made the install look simple. The team took the time to explain the processes and how the pool system worked, which gave us even more confidence that we would be able to look after the pool once we were on our own. I had lots of questions in the months running up to choosing a pool and deciding on the spec of all the associated equipment. Penny couldn't have been more helpful, helping me to make the best choices for my needs, explaining some of the more technical aspects, and making several trips to site with Mike to go through everything in person. I was very surprised to see her lugging ballast and granite slabs, going around with the spirit-level and checking the chemistry on the week of installation, as I'd assumed that would be a different team, but it was all part of the service and explains why her and Mike's knowledge of the products and equipment was so good! Overall, we're really happy with the pool and I can't wait until the landscaping around it is finished so we can start using it properly in the spring! Our landscaping company has also commented on the quality of the setup; they see a lot of pools so I found their seal of approval very reassuring. Penny handled our initial enquiry and managed initial meetings, pool choice and specification, site visits and the entire installation process. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the pool or the whole process which ran on time and on budget. Penny, Mike and the superbly choreographed cast of delivery and crane drivers etc were without exception a delight to have around. I’ve never seen anyone graft like Penny does, dealing with sales enquiries and supporting customer in between managing our install, shovelling ballast and running barrows; I wish she worked for my business! Making the decision to have one has not been a quick decision and we strongly suggest you make as many enquiries and do as much research as possible, as once the pool is in that's it! Compass has not disappointed. The initial meeting with Tracy was the deciding point, as she really went through all of our options to meet our requirements. The installation only took 2 weeks, and team were extremely professional and helpful and always happy to answer our questions. (there were a lot!) Initially we did a lot of analysis of their competitors in the market, but we went ahead with Compass who to us seemed the best by a long way. Sheila was really lovely and so helpful throughout the whole process. When the time came for excavation and installation of the pool, Penny and Mike made a preliminary visit and explained the timeline and what we could expect. They were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and very efficient! They make a great team and we couldn’t believe the range of skills they possess between them. Adam Breeden6 November 2023i procured a pool from compass on a new construction house we built. the house was considerably delayed, but compass were extremely good and accommodating the moving timelines. now the pool is in we are totally delighted with it, stunning aesthetic but also the kit is state of the art and all online via an app they really take the hassle out of up keeping a pool which i was dreading. re the resign of the pool, you are really left with the feeling they really know about pools and whats important. we were going to build one bespoke but we would never have thought of the little design touches that make is so user friendly. i rarely write reviews, but these guys really deserve it, rarely these days do you come across top notch suppliers that are also not too expensive. top service too, shout out to sheila, thank you..+1Posted on Google

No sales push. Dedicated representative thorough out the process. The on-site team were efficient, no nonsense get the job done - but all friendly and very professional. Couldn’t be happier with the final result. Pool looks great - went with the light Pearl finish which looks stunning against the green backdrop of the garden. The plant room is compact and easy to navigate and we love the way it’s all hidden away (behind the hedge) and quiet! The integrated cover completes the look and helps heat the water. Everyone we have come into contact with from Sheila, who helped us choose the perfect pool and kept in contact throught the entire sales and installation process, to Elliot who helped plan out the delivery and install (depsite some very narrow lanes) and John and his installation team who did an amazing job completing the project. Sheila also recommended Chris Howell at Eden Landscapes who worked perfectly as a landscaper they regulary work with to complete the patio and landscaping works. Compass Ceramic pools seemed the best option in all respects . Now we have the pool the decision was certainly well made . The quality is superb while offering very good value for money . Julian Chapman10 April 2023The pool installation went very smoothly and quickly, in our case this was craned over our house so the whole process was quite exciting to watch. A fairly large team of people and materials were delivered and put in place over 2 days, and works finishing this off over the subsequent 2 weeks by Penny and Mike. We are now waiting for contractors to return to complete paving around the pool area, and the terrace at the back of our house. My only negative on this was being asked just 2 weeks before the installation to get neighbours agreement for the crane to oversail (swing over) their properties, fortunately they were OK with this.+3Posted on Google

Lizzy C21 July 2022Over 3 years ago I started the process of looking into pool options, I started with natural pools as I was sure this was what I wanted, moved to salt water pools, went to concrete pools, then one piece pools and finally found Compass Pools; I then kept researching and couldn't find anything that looked any better on paper. I called the pool company and Penny became my sales person point of contact, she came to visit me at home. We chatted in my kitchen for some time, I must admit that I didn't understand some of the specs she was getting excited about, but I did get the overall concept, this was an good quality pool and ticked all my boxes. She answered every question I could think of and was just very straight with me. I had my 'you won't be getting me to sign anything amour', it is a special reinforced amour I wear especially for meetings with salespeople, I will sign when I am good and ready not when I am told to. But Penny was the best type of sales person, at no point through the entire process did I feel pressured or obligated to sign my life away. When she left I was satisfied that this was the pool for us. Once I had the quote I had to digest it, nothing on it seemed high but the overall amount was definitely more than I had been planning. A week later lockdown happened, the pool went on the backburner and there it stayed for about 18 months. Penny checked in with me and nothing more happened. From the point that I said we were ready, we paid the deposit and the whole process just started rolling. Another site visit and access routes were decided, this was an almost impossible task but Penny and Mike figured it out and when the time came it was completely smooth. On the exact date we had been given months earlier Mike and Penny appeared, equipment was delivered and the dig began. If I told you that from that first day it was 14 working days later I was handed the keys to the plant cupboard and my pool was fully functional and ready to use I do not think you'd believe me but it really is true. Mike was an absolute unbelievable craftsman, he knows every last thing about the process of installation and takes real pride on it being done well to a very high standard. I do various property developments and am the first person to find fault with workmanship, I could not find fault with Mike's fabulous work. Penny and Mike were here right through the instillation, Penny sales person had now morphed into Penny pool installer and right at the end she morphed again and became Penny technical pool care expert! Mike and Penny spent some time with me showing me the control functions and chemicals, making sure I understood it all and knew what I was doing. I videoed everything because there really is a lot to take in and this week I have continuously referred back to the videos in conjunction with the supplied manual. The happy ending to my long story: We have a XXL Trainer in the ground, with coping stones and solar cover, the air source heat pump worked for one day to get to temperature and turned off, the solar cover has taken it 5 degrees higher, the family has been in it every day, I've been out there at the crack of dawn doing my lengths both with the turbine on and off (different feel to the swim) and I could not be happier. The pool is better than I expected, I can not fault the team, Waterstream should be very happy with their staff and products. A friend recommended Penny to me when I was first thinking about getting a pool and she took me through the whole process, I couldn't have done it without her. I had my own builder to dig out as we had some landscaping to do before the pool could be fitted and she worked with him to make sure that there would be no problems with the final fit. She was always happy to answer any questions we had. The actual fitting of the pool ran smoothly and on time, despite the difficult site and the crane guys made it all look easy. January’s perhaps not the best time but they took the inevitable mud and frosty starts in their stride and within 2 weeks have us installed and ready for landscaping. Karen Dines12 January 2022If you are considering a Compass Pool, I cannot recommend these guys enough. There were never any pushy sales tactics and Penny has been so honest and helpful throughout the entire process. Patiently answering all our many questions and helping us with our planning and landscaping queries. Rather bravely we were undergoing major renovation work to our house at the same time as installing the pool. Penny and her team had the patience of Saints and manoeuvred the whole project around scaffolding, tradesmen and tricky, changeable schedules. Our property is located down a narrow lane with difficult access but this was no problem for Penny, Mike, Scott and the rest of the team. Everything was craned over from the road with great care and precision. Just 10 days later we were swimming in the pool! Our pool was installed in September 2021 and we are so pleased with it. We may have missed the summer but you can’t beat swimming under the stars at night and the pool is so comfortably heated that we have been using it throughout the winter months too. A fun family Christmas Day and New Years Day swim was a must. Looking forward to this summer to use the pool for cooling down rather than warming up! We have the 11x4m sloping bottom XL Trainer which is the perfect length to be able to swim for exercise. Plenty of room for all the kids plus inflatables. The little ledge all around the pool is really handy for the kids to rest on in the deep end and easily get in and out of the pool (as they do a thousand times) and the top steps are just the right size for lounging on too. It’s been a few months now and the novelty of having a beautiful pool outside is not even close to wearing off yet. The after sales care is as exceptional as when they were here on site. An almost instant response from Penny to the odd maintenance query and even popping round the very next day to check on something for us. Nicholas Duckett14 October 2021Compass installed my pool in Jersey in the Channel Islands in May 2021 and the whole process took just over 1 week from start to finish. The team led by Elliot also included Shane and Nathan. They worked long hours and did a thoroughly professional job. We are delighted with the finished product. Throughout the summer months we have only used the polycarbonate Rollo-Cover to heat the pool and have been achieving temperatures of 35 degrees C. Now in October we are using the air-source heat pump to keep a constant 33 degrees and it also performs very well. Alex did a great job assessing the access to our property as we live down a very narrow road. Nick in the office has been very helpful throughout. Finally Simon has been really good at sorting out a couple of minor post installation issues. Jen Mills3 August 2021Thank you and the entire Waterstream team so much for a very efficient, smooth running pool installation. From the moment we first met Mike (in the snow!) I felt we were in good, capable hands. He was excellent at helping us to decide which pool would be best for us and gave us so much confidence with regards to the installation process too. His efficiency in providing a quote within a day or two of our meeting, his constantly speedy responses to my many and varied queries and his patience with the many questions from a pool novice such as myself all helped us to make the decision that Waterstream were the company we wanted to work with. What a bonus it was being able to move the installation date forward by a month. From the day we first met Alex, Elliot and also Micky, we knew we would be in safe hands with the installation. Micky and his team did an excellent job of working efficiently, always keeping the site tidy, minimising disruption to ourselves and our neighbours and, of course, working with such precision and care. Micky always communicated with me daily, to ensure I was aware of what was happening that day and what would be expected in the coming days. He really helped me to feel relaxed about the installation and he always answered questions and queries with patience! The two drivers who delivered the pool to us were also very helpful and whilst I appreciate they are not employed by Waterstream, they did a great job of representing the company. When there were issues of Covid within the team, Grant and his colleagues did a superb job of taking over the running of the site and keeping everything on track. He, too, was an excellent communicator and I always knew what was happening at any given time. Mark did a fabulous job of installing the plant room for us and, once again, was always communicative and helpful. His quality of work was excellent. The installation was seamless, from beginning to end, despite the issues of Covid and also the problems with various parts being difficult to source. The pool handover with Alex and Mike was excellent and insightful. We were left feeling very confident about how to manage and look after our pool on a day to day basis. Adam, in the service team, has already provided himself to be helpful and efficient too. We are absolutely thrilled with our pool and have already enjoyed a number of fun-filled days with family and friends (despite the good old English weather doing its best to spoil our fun!). We are looking forward to another couple of months of fun (and hopefully sun!) to come too. Everyone we have encountered during this process has been efficient, professional, capable and, above all, a real pleasure to deal with. They worked tirelessly in some rainy conditions on the day of installation, managing the difficult access from a narrow lane, and continued to clean, and complete the pool and hand it over with clear instructions on how to manage the pool going forward. Once the landscaping around it is done, it will be even more wonderful, although everyone seems happy to swim in it as it is now, as it is so perfect! We live in the middle of a very narrow country road, meaning that the delivery and project itself was incredibly tough going and difficult to manage. Despite these obstacles, and in torrential rain, Penny and Mike in particular wouldn't take no for an answer and went above and beyond to ensure that the project could go ahead, and the pool be delivered. The pool itself is superb quality and looks absolutely fantastic. Penny managed the project well, and Mike has a superb demeanour, was calm throughout and was meticulous with his detail. Scott never stopped working, and the entire team delivered a fantastic product, whilst bending to our requests and adhering to our specifications. The handover was smooth and detailed, and their after service has been extremely helpful and responsive. Ted Sparrey30 May 2021What can I say about Penny, Mike and Scott and my overall experience with Compass Pools UK? First of all, aside from buying my home, adding a pool is the biggest single investment I’m ever likely to make. To make that decision took a LOT of research through several pool companies. I explored liner, concrete/tile and one-piece pool options, weighing up the pros and cons of each method of building as well as those of the builders themselves. It was through this evaluation process that Penny and Compass Pools stood head and shoulders above the competition. From a build perspective, the one-piece pool from Compass has many advantages over the alternatives. It is robust, long-lasting, comes with a long structural warranty backed by a reputable and financially strong organisation, it has lower maintenance needs, uses less chemicals than the alternatives, the project lead time was advantageous, and the project build time blew the others away (2 weeks from breaking ground to swimming). Then there were the personal interactions. I had a LOT of questions. Penny was professional, patient, flexible and guided me through the buying process with zero pressure. It was much appreciated and that personable approach followed through post-contract. During the build, Mike, Penny and Scott formed a formidable team. Watching them operate from day to day was like a well oiled machine. The expert co-ordination of multiple deliveries of equipment, materials, aggregate and more, by Penny was incredible to witness. Mike’s mastery of a massive excavator was a sight to behold and seeing Scott keeping up with Mike’s excavations with a 6 tonne Dumper as he moved the spoils to their departure point was first class. When something went wrong, and it did (we couldn’t get the lorry carrying the pool into our road), there was always a Plan B that was instigated without fuss or panic. That calm ownership of the project enabled us to remain confident throughout. The pool was in the ground on day 4. It was full of water on (calendar) day 7. The heating and filtration was running early in week 2 and the pool, copings, automated cover, LED lights, all looking incredible before the end of week 2. Astonishing. Incredible. Delightful! Today is day 9 and the 'photos below are of the completed pool ready for hard-landscaping by my own contractor. I have already recommended Compass to neighbors and will continue to do so. I am blown away with the quality of the product, the team’s efficiency, attention to detail, the service and the relationships formed. I simply could not be happier with my choice. If you’re in a similar situation, uncertain of the direction to go, ask for my number and ask me in person. John O23 March 2021My Pool was installed by Waterstream Ltd who are the U.K. agent for Compass. Very impressed with the experience and the end result. The Project management and implementation was excellent. The implementation team couldn’t have been more professional, polite, friendly and efficient. The “After-Sales” Service however leaves much to be desired. Your support ticket is logged and they say they will get back to you in 48 hours but from my experience it takes weeks to get a response and that’s only when you chase them - even then, they make you feel that you are a nuisance - when all you want to do is to pay for a service. Waterstream Support/Service is definitely the weak link. But I am happy with my decision on the Compass pool and very happy with the installation and project management. If not for the After-Service I’d give it 5 stars. My learnings from the pool I chose were: 1. Choose the pool colour only after you have asked the company to view some installations as I regret the shade of blue that I chose from their brochure 2. Put in more lights inside the pool than they recommend. I put in step lights and 3 lights along one side but I wish I’d put in more lights on the other pool side as well. 3. The biggest Heat Exchanger was a good decision. 4. I wish I’d bought the automatic pool cleaning option as in the autumn- when many leaves are falling - I spend forever scooping out leaves (even though I have an electric cover). 5. I love the auto-dosing do I don’t have to worry about testing ph and chlorine levels.Posted on Google

A swimming pool is an expensive purchase and this is a premium product rather than budget so it wasn’t the cheapest option out there. Having got comfortable with the quote, however, there were very few surprises and all of them have been good ones. Our install had some tricky access problems that the team coped with brilliantly and with minimal damage to the surrounding landscaping. Such damage as there was had been previously flagged up and was expected. The timescales we were quoted were either met or bettered and the only unknown in the price was the amount of backfill material required and again this was flagged before we agreed to proceed. We have had one maintenance issue being a faulty pump that was replaced very quickly and efficiently. All the team have been great to deal with, and Sheila in particular has gone above and beyond. Mike Eve17 January 2019We came across Compass by total chance having already decided on having a pool built by more traditional methods of concrete & tiled finish. Having then found an article in a magazine about the various types of swimming pools available, it brought our attention to one piece ceramic pools as a viable option. We then did some research on the internet and spoke to various companies who offer similar products and having spoken with Sheila from Compass invited her up so we can see their product and services in more detail. Instantly we were impressed with both the product and Sheila's knowledge and quickly decided that Compass were the company for us. This was to be for an indoor pool & we were having a bespoke building constructed at the same time to house it, to which Compass worked really well with our builders and met all agreed timelines. We opted for the air-handling unit with ducting, automatic pool cover, fully automatic disinfection and pH control system & auto top up. Well we have now been using the pool for nearly three months and it's been great. All I can say is that we are having hours of fun and not hours of maintenance, thanks to Shelia and the all the team @ Compass for helping us to achieve our goal. Steve Sweeney31 December 2018We bought a property based on being able to install a swimming pool, there were three options, a liner, block/brick, render and tile or composite one piece. Swimming pools are not cheap and you want to be able to enjoy and not be looking for the next cost replacing a liner or re-tiling. Costs of running a pool are of course just as important. There was no hard sell, we were looked after from start to finish and now have a great ongoing relationship with Compass. We have offered our pool as a show pool for any potential purchaser and would be more than happy to independently discuss anything that we have experienced. Some of the groundworks were undertaken by our works team and they worked with the Waterstream guys. The entire process and professionalism was amazing and the on-site team did an amazing job and the end product is epic. We thank the team greatly for how the entire works were orchestrated and delivered, some challenging weather but they kept going. Truly great company and very easy to recommend to anyone considering a pool. The pool system being a composite and not tiled has made the running, keeping clean so easy, along with the auto dosing plant room it is an easy pool to maintain. Diane Penty20 September 2018Sheila, of Compass Pools would get 10 stars if that were possible - she was absolutely terrific from initial sales enquiry, right through the ensuing year whilst we waited for planning permission, going far more than the extra mile and continues to do so even after commissioning is complete. By the way, anyone contemplating one of these amazing pools should be aware that no planning permission is required now if the pool is within 20 meters of your house, even in an aonb. There were issues with the groundworks during installation - a somewhat cavalier approach by the team resulted in collapsed sewage drains, a huge mess of our driveway and an incorrect assessment of the hole which was dug by others, hence 1 less star. We are content now, however and love the pool. We would not hesitate to recommend Compass Pools.Posted on Google

It has now been in for a year and I swim every day before breakfast regardless of the weather, snow on the ground etc. We have recently had a pool house finished so I can go straight from the pool into the shower without having to dry first! Having had a traditional liner pool in the past there is no comparison to the superior quality and design of our new pool. The way in which it was organised and executed was so slick and it was a pleasure to have all of your team here at The Limes. We loved the complete package. The plant room solution is genius and enabled us to press ahead before our pool house was built. We never thought the pool would be up and running this season and are still swimming daily now. The solar cover is a great heat retainer and so easy to use. We love the lounging steps and managed a lounge on them sipping the lovely champagne you kindly gave to us. Having the use of a pool is a key part of our recovery from various medical events and to have it at home means we have no excuse in getting fit again.
