All might not be clear when buying a monopool or one-piece pools as they are sometimes called. It all comes down to the materials they are made from and you have to do some digging to really get down to the material engineering behind your new pool.
A Compass pool is a multi-layered composite that includes carbon fibre and ceramic. They are layered up as liquid and matt to produce a complete pool without any joints or welds. The surface finish is layered first in several layers akin to a metallic paint finish on a high-end car. This gives the consumer a huge choice in a durable, UV-resistant and above all beautiful finish to their new pool. Behind this is layered and molded as one piece, several structural layers that include ceramic for heat insulation, Carbon Fiber for strength or in some cheaper one-piece pools steel to reinforce.
