New Era for Compass Pools

Compass Pools by Waterstream is opening new headquarters, featuring purpose-built office space, increased warehouse footprint, and a custom-designed production facility in Coolham, West Sussex. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to innovation in the luxury pool industry.

Compass Pools is the UK’s leading luxury swimming pool brand, specialising in the design, construction and installation of custom luxury pools. The fully redesigned office space offers a stylish, contemporary aesthetic that reflects the brand’s dedication to luxury design, using the highest quality materials and finishes. Alongside this, the new dedicated pool fit out and plant room workshop and production facility has been custom designed to house the production of Compass Pools’ signature Pool Pods. These pre-made plant rooms are compact, sleek, and simple, containing all essential pool equipment for swimming pool maintenance. 

The production workshop’s specialist design draws on the principles of luxury, quality and precision, with a distinctive connection to the world of Formula 1. Featuring equipment designed by the same team behind McLaren’s F1 facilities, the space merges high-end engineering with refined aesthetics, emphasising Compass Pools’ commitment to excellence in both high-end design and manufacturing.

This ambitious expansion is a testament to the company’s innovative vision for the brand. By enhancing its facilities, Compass Pools aims to elevate its service and product offerings, reinforcing its position as leaders in the luxury pool industry. This significant investment will enable the company to streamline its operations and expand its market reach, providing clients with unparalleled, high-quality products and services.

Sustainability played a central role in the development of the new facilities. The site features a range of environmentally responsible technologies, including energy-efficient systems designed to minimise environmental impact. Rainwater harvesting supplies water for all flushable toilets across the site, while rooftop solar panels generate 100% of the facility’s energy needs. An air source heating system eliminates the use of fossil fuels entirely, and all lighting throughout the buildings is LED – maximising energy efficiency at every level. The new site features electric vehicle charging facilities, all fed from solar power. The facility is fully carbon neutral, as part of Compass Pools’ mission to prioritise environmentally friendly practices.
